Jump & Capture (“the App”) is published by Maverick Codebase. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles when you play on iOS or Android.
Information we collect
- Your display name and character portrait.
- Game progress and stats stored on your device (wins, XP, scenarios, streaks, and saved matches).
- Settings such as sound, music, haptics, and whether play reminders are on.
How we use it
- To run the game and show your profile, stats, and progress.
- To send optional local play reminders if you turn notifications on.
- To improve the App using general usage and crash information.
Playing with others
- In Same Wi‑Fi or online matches, your display name and character may be shown to your opponent.
- Same Wi‑Fi matches stay between nearby devices.
- Online play uses Apple Game Center on iOS and Google Play Games on Android to sign in. Matches may include players on either platform.
- The leaderboard may show your display name, character, and lifetime XP.
Ads & purchases
- The free version shows ads from Google. You can buy Remove Ads to turn them off.
- On iOS, when the system asks for tracking permission, you can allow or decline. Declining still shows ads, but they are not personalized.
- Purchases are handled by Apple (iOS) or Google Play (Android). We only learn whether Remove Ads is active — not your payment details.
Your choices
- You can change your name and character anytime in the App.
- You can adjust sound, music, haptics, and notifications in Settings.
- You can restore Remove Ads on a new device with Restore Purchases.
- Deleting the App removes locally stored data from your device.
Children
- The App is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
- We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
- The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was revised.
